Extrano (Jeroen Brons) a DJ and producer born and raised in the Netherlands. He touched his very first vinyl record at the age of 15. Shortly after that, he bought his own turntables and a mixer to play his first couple of vinyl records. Altough he loved housemusic from that very moment, he started playing Hardstyle music. Some friends shared the same passion about Djing, and they all loved the harder styles of music at that time. So after some time of playing lots of records together, the first gigs followed shortly after that.
While getting more and more gigs, Jeroen wanted something more than just playing tracks of other artists. The will and passion for playing his own music, made him start producing his first own tracks. Some time flew by and it made him realise there was more than only Hardstyle. So his love for Housemusic took over and “Extrano” was born.
After making lots of house tracks, the first releases got signed and he developed his own and unique style of House. Nothing stayed unnoticed, and the first collaborations came in. Tracks like “Papua 3000” (with Asino) and “Release Yourself” (with Gathier) hitted the stores, and have been supported by big DJ's like Oliver Heldens and Ummet Ozcan. (to name a few) So he started to create a real name for himself, and a lot of gigs started to kick in. He also had to make a fine remix of Don't Give Up by Black Snow feat. Marisa & Mark Wild for Cosmic Gate's label “Wake Your Mind” on Armada. While it really started to work for him, he still wanted to push things forward and he started to follow a course at the school of house in Amsterdam, to help him get in the right and better direction.
In the last few years he produced and co-produced tracks for a lot of different labels. His own single release called “Everyone” (Muskox Records) hitted #15 in the house charts on Beatport. And WEAREJOHLIN's single release (with a fresh Extrano Remix) Hitted #3 on Beatport's Minimal & Deep Tech chart. His sound is characterized by his own and unique groovy usage of percussion and bass layers. Several tracks of Extrano where already played all over the world in clubs and on a lot of radio stations. With some of his tracks supported by the likes of Tiesto, Oliver Heldens, Roog, EDX, Sam Divine, Vanilla Ace and Ummet Ozcan (to name a few) and his own unique sound, Extrano is building a strong presence as a producer and as a DJ in the dance scene national an international.
